Capable of Telling the World About 'The Mighty Boosh'

I wish I was... capable of telling the WORLD about 'The Mighty Boosh'!

Okay, so while working on this horrible research paper, I have one of my favorite shows playing. I had this remarkable idea to do a whole post about it. It's called 'The Mighty Boosh' and it is one of the most amaizing shows I have ever seen. I discovered it this past summer, and I'm now in love with it. It's the cheesy British show, about these 2 men, one a gorgeous, vain, young guy, and the other an older, kill-joy stuck in the Jazz age. Together they get themselves into many crazy situations, and rely on a short wizard of sorts and his gorilla to save them.

It's a hilarious show, and each episode is sure to make you laugh.

You've seen Old Greg, right? If not check it out!

Sorry about the ridiculous quality, it's all YouTube has to offer at the moment.

WATCH WATCH WATCH (: Cartoon Network's Adult Swim at 1 am Saturday morning!
you won't regret it.

Able to Time Travel

I wish I was... able to time travel.

Yesterday was a good day, my mom met my new boyfriend for the first time today... and she approves! We had such a nice day just lounging around the house and going to the movies, that I forgot about all of the tiny annoyances of this week. We make each other very happy, and I believe we told each other this at least fifty times. We just over all had a great day, and I wouldn't mind re-living it!

We seen 'Shutter Island' with Leonardo DiCaprio, and it was a pretty good movie. I wouldn't watch it again but it was alright. It dealt a lot with the holocaust, which is one of the historic events I find more interesting, so it was pretty interesting.

My Friday was great, let's just hope the rest of the weekend is even better.

Back In A Public School

I wish I was... back in a public school!

So, this year was my first year at a private Christian school, yet I am not religious at all. We take Bible classes, we have chapels, all of that good stuff, and it is really fine with me! I have no problem with it.

But when a peer comes up to me and asks me to go to church with them, and I kindly decline... it simply means no. Not "come back in thirty minutes, I'm gonna change my mind." It's just not very appealing to me. I feel as if I'm being pushed into it, and when I do decided to become religious it will NOT be because of other people pushing me into it.

It's one thing to beg me to go to your church, but when you leave a bible in my locker with a note saying, "You need to get saved." That is what gets me mad. The same girl who put a bible in my locker also gave my boyfriend a bible as well. Really? I get that she is trying to help... but really?

Anyway, this girl, the "bible planter", is the same girl who flirts with my boyfriend constantly... Ok, Virgin Mary get your own boyfriend.

Sorry for the rant! But yeah, this would have NEVER happened in a public school. I am not in this Christian Academy by choice, by the way.

More Like My Grandfather

I wish I was... more like my grandfather.

My grandfather, on my mother's side, (my papa) is the most amazing person I know. His story is the kind of story that truly gives me hope.

Ever since I was a little girl my Papa was always very protective of me. Being his first grand-child it was understandable. He built himself up from nothing, he went from being a lower-class underprivileged child, to being the most wealthy person in our family. After all of his accomplishments he still faces so many hardships today. My Papa is the rock in our family.

My Grandmother is addicted to pain-killers. Hardcore stuff. Morphine, Vicodin, every pain-killer I can think of is one I associate with my grandmother. She is killing herself slowly, and everyone knows it. Even she knows, and my Papa sticks by her side even through her withdrawal rages.

My Uncle, who is my Papa's son, is an alcoholic. I mean, one of the worst. My Papa took him in, bought him a travel trailer, and he now lives for free on their land, using their electricity and eating their food. My Papa is always there for him, even when he is pissed beyond belief.

Every time I see my Papa he is all smiles. He makes me laugh by telling goofy jokes and pulling hilarious pranks on me. He comes over to visit us often, he lives just right down the road from us. He stops by every Tuesday and Thursday to drop our paper off, and yet even in the roughest times of his life, he always manages to put a smile on mine, and my siblings faces.

My Grandfather means the world to me, and without him, I think my whole family would all be lost. He has recently came close to losing his own mother, and by the looks of it she does not have much time left. It gives me hope to see how strong he is through all of this. I have NEVER met anyone who is as unselfish and caring as he is. He is a true hero in my life, and I love him with all of my heart.

We all know someone like this, and we should all be grateful that we do. It is good people, like my Grandfather, who keep this world from being totally morally corrupt. This has been weighing heavy on my heart, and even if I said thank you, a million times... it would not be enough.

I love you, Papa.
